Mr Miklos Peuten

Miklos Peuten received his Diplom (former German Master equivalent) in Physics at the University of Bonn in 2013. The topic of his thesis was the negative orbit period of the LMXB 4U 1820-30 in the Globular Cluster NGC 6624 and its implication for this cluster. At the University of the Surrey his is currently researching into how the Milky Way globular clusters formed. This PhD project is under the supervision of Prof. Mark Gieles and Dr. Alessia Gualandris.

Research interests

  1. formation, evolution and composition of globular clusters
  2. using computers to analyse and solve (not only) astrophysical problems
